Efficiency
Fees are fixed and they are billed twice a year in advance. This saves both time and money for Ithaka and the families. In rare situations, out of scope fees are agreed before they are charged meaning that there is never any unpleasant surprises. Unlike larger more inward looking trust companies, Ithaka does not impose time sheets on their staff which means there is no temptation for a task to take longer than it should. It also ensures that Ithaka attracts the best and brightest minds Jersey has to offer.
Independence
Ithaka is an owner-managed trust company with each team having the time and space to get to know each family, ensuring decisions are made promptly. Unencumbered by unrealistic targets, Ithaka and its staff can remain nimble, adapting quickly to changing circumstances.
